Alison's Cosy Nook

Come in, pull up a chair and relax with us.

Here we are at the beginning of March and my eyes are stinging and my nose wont stop running - isn't it early for hayfever? I have had this before to a milder extent but my eyes are puffed up and sore. I have been using drops to ease the condition.

I have been told that new era have a remedy and will go to the chemist to try them out.

I wondered if anyone had anything that worked well for them?

I suffer from hayfever quite badly too. unfortunately through experience I have found that with medications, what one person will swear by, will not help another person. however, for me I have found a nasal spray "nasonex" to be the most effective medication I have ever used. In Australia you need a doctor's prescription to use it, I am not sure if you have it there in the UK or if it has a different name there!

I dont suffer from hayfever, by my ex suffered badly some years. He took Piriton. I think there was something else he took too, but I'm sorry, I dont remember the name of that one.
